I urge everyone to watch 'Bootcut Balaraju' in theatres this February 2: Sohel

'Bootcut Balaraju', led by Bigg Boss Telugu season 4 fame Sohel Ryan, is going to hit the screens on February 2. Produced by Global Films and Katha Veruntadhi, the entertainer's pre-release event was held on Monday in Hyderabad.

Speaking on the occasion, Sohel got emotional and urged the audience to watch his movie this Friday without fail. "Producer Basha doesn't hail from a rich background. About half of the film was completed when he ran out of funds. Our project faced financial hurdles. Yet, the producer soldiered on and finished the project. We in the film industry don't have it easy. There is pain behind the facade of glamour. Dil Raju garu has allotted theatres to our movie in Nizam. I thank him on this occasion. Suma Kanakala akka is hosting this event for free to encourage me. We spend about Rs 1 Cr on publicity. The aim is to make the audience aware of our movie's existence," Sohel added.

Guest and actor Manchu Manoj appreciated Sohel for staying the course with perseverance. "He has worked really hard to get his dance moves right. After his Bigg Boss Telugu stint, he has only been working harder to make a mark in the film industry," Manoj said. He said that Brahmanandam is someone who encourages everyone regardless of their stature. The legendary comedy actor was present on the occasion as one of the guests.

Brahmanandam said, "I haven't watched this film but I have watched a song. Every dance move by Sohel is full of vigor. That says it all. Even Chiranjeevi garu was a small actor once upon a time. Sohel might reach great heights. You never know!

'Baby' director Sai Rajesh, another guest, said that many lives are changed by Fridays in the film industry. "Don't underestimate anybody. I feel emotional looking at Sohel's hard work and attitude," the filmmaker said.

Actor Sundeep Kishan said that Sohel is someone who creates opportunities and tries to shine. "With all my heart, I sincerely believe that Sohel is up for success," the 'Ooru Peru Bhairavakona' star said.

The event was also attended by Viraj Ashwin, Roshan Kanakala, 'Naatu Naatu' singer Rahul Sipligunj, and others.
