'Naa Saami Ranga' attained break-even quite early: Team at success event

Akkineni Nagarjuna began his speech by unconditionally thanking his fans. He said that the distributors lapped up 'Naa Saami Ranga' even though its release was announced later than other Sankranthi movies.

Nagarjuna further said, "Everyone on set maintained a smile on their faces even though they had to work the fastest. More than thanking them, I want to say that I miss them all! The film was shot till January 3. When we set out to complete the film in three months (in September last year) and release it for Sankranthi, even my wife Amala thought we had gone mad. Only the team of this movie, especially director Vijay Binni, believed that we could meet the deadline. MM Keeravani garu completed the songs and RR pretty fast by adhering to a strict schedule."

A distributor said that the Sankranthi release started making profits for distributors just three days after its release.

Heroine Ashika Ranganath thanked the Nag-Vijay Binni duo and producer Srinivasaa Chitturi for encouraging her right from the beginning. "After this movie, I have been called Varaalu after my character's name. This is the biggest honour for any actor," she added.

MM Keeravani thanked his keyboard programmer and others in his team for working non-stop for weeks on end so that the product was ready for Sankranthi. Cinematographer Dasaradhi Shivendra, lyricist Chandrabose, costume designer Neeraja Kona and others were thanked by Vijay Binni in his long speech.
