'Mangalavaaram', directed by 'RX 100' fame Ajay Bhupathi, was released in theatres in November last year. Currently, it is streaming in multiple languages on Disney Plus Hotstar.
Producers Swathi Reddy Gunupati and Suresh Varma of Mudhra Media Works are happy to announce that their film has bagged four awards in different categories at the Jaipur International Film Festival. Payal Rajput has won the Best Actor (Female) Award, while the Best Sound Design award has gone to Raja Krishnan. The Best Editing and Best Costume Design awards have gone to Gullapalli Madhav Kumar and Mudasar Mohammad, respectively.
Bhupathi, known also for 'Maha Samudram', has expressed happiness over his third film receiving so much applause from the audience, critics and now the awards circuit.
'Mangalavaaram', co-starring Shritej, Ajmal Amir, Chaitanya Krishna, Ajay Ghosh, Laxman Meesala and others, is shot by cinematographer Dasaradhi Sivendra of the recent 'HanuMan'. With music by B Ajaneesh Loknath of 'Kantara' fame, its production design is by Raghu Kulkarni.
The film deals with a psychologically bruised woman due to some incidents. A twist related to a female character has become a viral story ever since the movie was released on OTT recently.
