Popular playback singer Sunitha Upadrashta is going to perform live at the famous Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad on March 22. The queen of melody has joined hands with Temple Bell Events and SVM Grand Hotel for the show.
A poster was released to mark the announcement. Speaking on this occasion, she said that she is getting to do a musical performance after a long gap. She revealed that she will sing both Telugu and Tamil songs with an emphasis on melodies.
Tickets are available for sale on BookMyShow. The organizers are offering a discount of 15% as an initial offer. The first ticket for the show was bought by music director RP Patnaik, who congratulated Sunitha on completing 25 years of her career in the film industry. "She has rendered enormous services to the music industry," he added.
Sunitha is a recipient of nine Nandi Awards and two Filmfare Awards South. She also received a National Award from All India Radio under the light music category when she was 15.
Temple Bell Events has previously held shows in Hyderabad with the legendary Ilaiyaraja, the super-talented Shankar Mahadevan and the most-happening SS Thaman.
