You are wrong if you thought the entire week was negative in its orientation. The week is meant to help individuals muster the courage to move on from a failed relationship, among others. Singles and ex-lovers can have some fun observing the week.

Some brands are marketing themselves by announcing special offers in the Anti-Valentine's Week. "From now until Valentines Day, Pizza Hut is offering free Goodbye Pies in select locations. By going to GoodbyePies.com, customers can order a free Hot Honey pizza to be delivered to an ex’s, or soon-to-be ex’s, home," says a report by FastCompany.com.

Kicking off the Anti-Valentine's Day, a Twitter user wrote, "As the world bathes in shades of red and whispers of love echo, let us not forget it is not just about the companionship found in another, but also about the passions that drive us, the causes that call to us, and the community that stands with us."
