A new wave of layoffs are all set to be announced by the electric-car maker Tesla Inc over the next few weeks, according to information revealed by news website Electrek.

The company has also started a hiring freeze even as Tesla's stocks fell to a record 52-week low. The Tesla CEO Elon Musk in the month of June had instructed executives to immediately pause any hiring and slash 10% of its staff.

Ukraine- Russia Conflict’s Future Creating Global Concern

Ukraine Russia

A lot of events in 2023 will depend on the outcome of the Russia-Ukraine war which is all set to complete one year in February. Ukraine’s President Zelensky is returning from the US with a further promise of funding and strategic weapons to protect his country.

Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared that the war may come to an end soon, if Ukraine is willing to hold peace talks. No one is sure what would be the next step but slowly the West is piling pressure on Ukraine to restart peace negotiations.

In the last ten months, the world economy has suffered a lot due to this war. Russia has been subject to sanctions while Ukraine, a major food exporter to the world has seen its exports as well as economy plummet to record lows. Now, whether there will be a peace deal or the war intensifies, is being watched closely.
