‘Disqualify Raghunandan Rao': Telangana Congress complains on BJP leader

Indian National Congress party in Telangana has filed a complaint with the Election Commission on Bharatiya Janata Party leader, Raghunandan Rao for violation of Model Code of Conduct. The BJP leader was distributing Lord Ram calendars with the photographs of Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid over them, which is a violation of the model code of conduct.

The Congress has demanded EC to make the BJP leader unfit and to announce his disqualification as he violated the rules. Earlier, Raghunandan Rao was caught in a controversy when a complaint was filed against him by the EC for using foul language against other political party leaders.

Telangana is going for parliamentary elections to elect MPs for the 17 Lok Sabha Constituencies.
