It is known that Kalvakuntla Kavitha, the daughter of BRS chief KCR was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in the Delhi Liquor Policy case. This was immediately followed by the arrest of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
A week after the arrest of his daughter, KCR has finally taken the time to react on the matter and he has called out the NDA government for the selective charges. He faulted the BJP government for misusing the central authorities to push their political narratives.
"Kejriwal's arrest is a black day in India's democratic history. The recent arrests of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and BRS MLC Kavitha prove that the ruling BJP at the Center is acting with the sole intention of destroying the opposition. For this, the central government is using ED, CBI, IT, and other central investigation agencies." KCR said on the topic as he cited the examples of Hemant Soren and Kavitha along with Kejriwal to critique the NDA government and its vindictive politics.
Meanwhile, KTR is currently in Delhi as he is said to be working on finding a legal remedy to Kavitha's case. He is waging a legal battle against ED over what he says is an illegal arrest of Kavitha.
