An incident of violence took place on Saturday night at Pista House, Attapur, Hyderabad. As per reports that emerged only on Sunday evening, as many as ten individuals were involved in the vandalism.
As per Deccan Chronicle, the individuals (who are yet to be identified by the Cyberabad police) resorted to vandalism after being denied entry into the restaurant. By the time they came, the kitchen was closed. The hotel refused to serve them. Enraged, the irate individuals damaged property. A report has been filed.
A section of the media claimed that the individuals are rowdy sheeters. "They were 17 in number. Their intimidating and violent behaviour petrified the customers who were seated," a report says. If they are indeed rowdy sheeters, the incident would assume a great deal of significance from a law and order perspective.
The Pista House management reported the incident to the Attapur police. Investigation is currently on. CCTV footage concerning the incident has found its way into social media.
