TS Election: Congress sweeping away BRS

After a 10-year long wait since the formation of Telangana, the Congress party has finally started to reap the benefits for giving statehood to the state as the party is sweeping away the current ruling party, BRS.

As per the latest reports from the Election Commission portal, the Congress party is leading in 46 constituencies in the state while BRS is confined to 24 seats.

But the latest updates from the Telugu media outlets are suggesting that Congress has taken the lead in over 70 constituencies and has already crossed the magic figure while BRS is trailing far behind the national party.

KCR is leading from Gajwel and trailing in third position in Kamareddy, where Revanth Reddy is leading. KTR trailed after first round in Siricilla and gained slender lead in second round. Eatala Rajender and Errabelli Dayakar Rao are trailing and so is Bandi Sanjay.
