The liquor scam that caused a stir in Delhi's political circles has now created waves in Telangana politics, with the Chief Minister's daughter, BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha, being named as an accused. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has served Kavitha a summons to appear at their Delhi office, and she is currently in Delhi.

Kavitha's brother, KTR, who is the IT Minister of Telangana, has strongly criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the summons. He questioned why leaders from other parties are being targeted while nothing is happening to the BJP. KTR also referred to the ED notice as a "Modi notice," implying that the BJP-led central government is using the ED to target political opponents.

KTR further accused the BJP of using central agencies to target opponents and praised the leadership of his party, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), under the guidance of his father, Chief Minister KCR. He referred to the tactics used against Kavitha as "cheap politics."

KTR also questioned why Prime Minister Modi is not addressing the controversies surrounding industrialist Adani, who is considered to be close to the BJP. He also raised concerns about pending cases against BJP MPs like Sujana Chowdary and CM Ramesh.
