The Chief Minister of Telangana, KCR who is considered very ambitious has planned and is currently constructing a new Secretariat building with a budget of over Rs 600 crores. The building will have all necessary amenities and facilities.
Unfortunately, the opening of the Secretariat has been delayed due to unforeseen circumstances and the election code of conduct. The Election Commission has stated that the Secretariat cannot be opened before the upcoming MLC elections in Telangana.
According to media reports, the Telangana government may now inaugurate the Secretariat on April 30th, with a large event to mark the occasion. The construction is said to be in its final stages, and the Chief Minister recently visited the site to oversee the progress.
The Secretariat is considered to be the Chief Minister's dream project, and its delayed opening has been a disappointment. However, it appears that a new date has been set and plans are underway to open the building next month.
