ED: Arvind Kejriwal’s Case To Be Heard In Delhi High Court

Delhi Chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal who was arrested by Enforcement Directorate(ED) in connection with the Delhi Liquor scam, filed a petition in Delhi High court. The petition will be heard tomorrow, i.e., on Wednesday, March 27th, 2024

It is said that the case would be heard by a bench of justice, Swarana Kanta Sharma. Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement directorate on March 21 with the charges of corruption in connection with the Delhi liquor policy scam. Earlier two other AAP leaders were also arrested in this case, Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh were lodged in Thihar jail. In addition AAP leaders, recently BRS MLC and former Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's daughter K Kavitha was also arrested and sent to judicial custody.

The special PMLA court, Delhi has remanded Arvind Kejriiwal for ED custody for six days till March 28, 2024. The ED officials are questioning him about the Delhi liquor scam. ED has conducted searches on 245 locations across the country including Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai and other places.
