Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, who was taking part in the Memantha Siddham yatra was attacked by an unknown person, while he was touring Vijayawada. The attack took place on Saturday night, April 10, 2024, while he was greeting the public.
CM Jagan got an injury on his left eyebrow after being hit by a stone. MLA Vellampalli, who was next to CM Jagan too sustained an injury in his left eye. Doctors immediately provided first aid to CM Jagan in the bus.
Despite the injury, the Chief Minister, with his grit and determination continued his bus journey after receiving first aid. Vijayawada YSRCP leaders claim that TDP factions are behind this heinous and cowardly attack.
