Any politician in his right mind will commission a team that at least knows the regulations that will be in effect when the Election Commission announces code of conduct.
But Pawan Kalyan, being Pawan Kalyan, has taken the ingenious decision of not hiring a team that has even a basic understanding of the election code of conduct.
Incidentally, Pawan planned to kickstart Varahi Yatra in Andhra Pradesh from the 31st of this month and related pooja ceremonies were performed earlier. If all went well, the Varahi yatra would have commenced in Pithapuram tomorrow, 31st March.
But for some reason, Pawan and his team didn't apply for permission for the partaking of the Varahi yatra from the 31st of March, as a result of which, AP police have rejected the proposal to commence the yatra.
When the election code is in effect, every politician must seek prior permission from the ECI and also the local police before holding a political meeting. But Pawan Kalyan and his team wasn't aware of this and they didn't take necessary permission for the Varahi Yatra. As a result, the yatra had to get postponed in the last minute.
