The Godavari districts are usually considered as the weaklinks for YSR Congress. Though the party won the majority of the seats here in 2019, this feat can't be replicated again.
Telugu Desam and Janasena are working tirelessly to at least grasp these Godavari districts so that they at least have exitance in Andhra Pradesh.
But according to the latest projections by Partha Das, who is associated with the reputed Chanakkya Agency, YSR Congress is exhibiting a strong hold in East Godavari district.
His projection is as below

YSRCP is leading in 6-7 seats.

For those wondering what is so special for YSRCP as it is not winning the majority of the seats here, the catch here is that YCP winning 6-7 seats here is more than enough and it is a much better result than a sweep out that happened in 2014 when YCP couldn't fare well here.
YCP's stronghold is in the coastal and Seema region. The worst thing that can happen in the Godavari districts is a sweep out and luckily that is not happening in this case. This would essentially mean that YCP is on pace to win 123-130+ seats if we look at overall projections.
