At today's TDP-JSP public meeting at Tadepalligudem, Pawan Kalyan displayed his ignorance of basic public psychology yet again. Addressing his supporters who have turned vocally critical against him in recent days, the actor-politician said that those who like him shouldn't question him.
"Jagan Mohan Reddy's supporters show unquestioning loyalty. But my supporters don't. They question me." This is the gist of Pawan's immature rant against his critical supporters.
This is childish, to say the least. Your support base wants you to maximize gains so that you and your social base can enjoy a turn at political power. This is not rocket science. If you fail to realize the basic electoral goal of attaining power, your supporters' disillusionment would be totally justified.
Jagan's supporters don't question him because he never showed some other leader as the idea CM candidate. On the other hand, Pawan has rallied behind Chandrababu Naidu twice since the formation of his party. His supporters expected the least from him this time: a good bargain in terms of seat allocation. Pawan couldn't secure even that. He was satisfied with 24 seats and ostensibly at the behest of Nadendla Monohar.
Despite a series of disasters (in terms of political strategy), Pawan doesn't want his supporters to question him. Such a pity!
At this rate, Pawan will be left with towering leaders like Naga Babu and Jani Master by his side. They will never question him no matter what! Pawan can rely on them in dire situations.
