Ever since the TDP-JSP alliance released its first list of candidates last week, there has been a meltdown of sorts among Jana Sena's social media supporters. Is this meltdown limited to social media? Or, is the situation bad even on the ground?
On Monday night, a video clip in which Hyper Aadi (an intellectual by Jana Sena's standards) addressed the concerns of the core support base of the party surfaced online. In the video, he sounds dejected at the spate of criticism faced by his beloved statesman, Pawan Kalyan.
While the purpose of the monologue was to convince the demotivated cadres of Jana Sena to see Pawan Kalyan as a selfless and wise leader, the video unwittingly proves that the grassroots-level dissatisfaction in the Jana Sena cadre is extreme. The top brass seems to have lost all hope.
It seems the ruling YCP must be happy with how the alliance has unravelled. Jana Sena supporters are convinced that the TDP has taken Pawan Kalyan for a royal ride.
