How did Jagan reverse TDP's momentum after CBN's arrest?

Later last year, when Chandrababu Naidu was arrested and later released on bail, the party leaders felt that this would build sympathy for the party and help in the election. But Jagan managed to reverse whatever momentum that TDP got through the arrest and release of CBN.

As things stand, YSR Congress party under the leadership of YS Jagan appears to be peaking at the right moment, with a rejuvenated cadre. The Siddham campaign is a great success. The TDPs momentum which peaked early in late December appears to have weakened as a result of the indecisiveness with the alliance. The internal fight amongst the alliance parties took away whatever momentum TDP had.

TDP cadre, who were quite upbeat 45-50 days ago, are now losing confidence with all the uncertainties surrounding the alliance. While YSRCP is going to be in full-on campaign mode in the next 50 days, anticipate significant turbulence in the opposition camp due to seat sharing, candidate selection, and rebel candidates. Right now, it appears that Jagan has set the agenda for the election, with opposition lagging behind.

This is the kind of political web that Jagan spun in 2019 to break the back of TDP and led YCP to a humongous victory. He is back at it again this term with Siddham.
