World of Statistics, a Twitter handle with 1.6 million followers, has put out figures mentioning the average IQ of different nations. As per a study, Japanese and Taiwanese have an IQ of 106.48 and 106.47, respectively, which are among the best in the world. Singapore, Hong Kong, China, South Korea, Belarus, Finland, Liechtenstein and Germany have an above 100 IQ.

People from Canada, the UK, the US, Australia, France, and others have a sub-100 IQ, the study claims. Pakistanis with an IQ of 80 beat Indians, who are projected to have an IQ of 76.2.

Netizens are slamming the study, describing it as pseudo-scientific garbage. "You will understand that this tweet is rubbish when you get to know that countries with an average IQ of less than 77 are producing the bulk of the medical doctors for countries of an average IQ of 95 - 100," a Netizen pointed out.

Philosopher Nassim Nicholas Taleb called out the study as a fraudulent one. He put out an article with the headline "IQ is largely a pseudoscientific swindle."
