Shaakuntalam is a high expectation film that has superstar Samantha in the titular role. Director Gunasekhar is making this movie on a very grand scale as an epic love story which is based on the love story of Shakuntala and her husband Dushyanta, penned by poet Kalidasa.
Shaakuntalam is now in the post-production phase while its first look posters have already impressed the audience. The team has now announced the release date as February 17th, 2023. The film is releasing in 3D as a visual wonder in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Mohan Babu, Gautami, Aditi Balan, Prakash Raj, and Ananya Nagalla are playing other roles in this movie produced by Neelima Guna. The film is being presented by Dil Raju. Manisharma’s music is expected to be a highlight of the film, written and directed by Gunasekhar.
