It appears that the spate of demises still continues and even the New Year didn’t bring in a sigh of relief. The latest update is that senior Tollywood lyricist Peddada Murthy breathed his last. He shot to fame for his lyrics in the hit movie ‘Chandamama’ helmed by the creative genius Krishna Vamsi.
His recognition got further high when he wrote the song ‘Siggutho chi chi…’ from the hit movie ‘Stalin’ featuring megastar Chiranjeevi. Peddada hails from Vizag and his family is dealing with tragedies as his brother PVDS Prakash passed away last year. He was also a well known writer, lyricist. The final formalities would be conducted at Rajiv Nagar graveyard on Wednesday. For now, Peddada Murthy’s film ‘Naagali’ is awaiting release and he has written the songs as well as dialogues.
