'Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam' is the title of an upcoming family entertainer fronted by Rao Ramesh. The film is slated to hit the screens this Summer.
On Friday, its first song was released. 'Nene Subramanyam', as the title suggests, is oriented to talk about the inimitable style of the lead man. The middle-aged protagonist is probably facing social backlash over a decision he has taken in his life. But then, Subramanyam being Subramanyam, he asserts himself and wears an 'I me myself' attitude with aplomb.
The song's popularity has been validated by a few influencers who do reels on Instagram and meme pages, the makers said.
Directed by Lakshman Karya and produced by PBR Cinemas and Lokamaatre Cinematics, the film also features Indraja, Ankith Koyya, Ramya Pasupuleti, Harsha Vardhan, Ajay and Annapurnamma. Produced by Bujji Rayudu Pentyala and Mohan Karya, the film's music is by Kalyan Nayak. The cinematography is by MN Balreddy. Edited by Bonthala Nageswara Reddy, its art direction is by Suresh Bhimagani.
