'Dear Uma' Actress Sumaya Reddy prays at Tirumala ahead of film's release

In February, the Telugu-speaking actress Sumaya Reddy made a donation for the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Simhadripuram. She has been visiting temples to connect with the divine.

Ahead of the release of her film in Telugu and Kannada, Sumaya today prayed at the Tirumala temple. A pic of herself clicked outside the temple is out.

The young actress is the story-writer, producer and female lead of 'Dear Uma'. Pruthvi Ambaar has been selected by Suma Chitra Arts to portray the male protagonist in the upcoming film. Penned and directed by Sai Rajesh Mahadev, the narrative revolves around a young aspiring rockstar entangled in a whirlwind romance with a woman he is smitten by. The makers are glad that the film's teaser has clocked more than one million views on YouTube.

With Raj Thota as the cameraman and Radhan as the music director, the film stars Kamal Kamaraju, comedian Saptagiri, Ajay Ghosh, Aamani, Rajeev Kanakala, Prithviraj and Roopa Lakshmi in different roles.
