'Happy Ending' will surely make the viewers smile: Producer Anil Pallala

Yash Puri and Apoorva Rao, hailing from a theatrical background, are set to grace the screen in the upcoming release 'Happy Ending', a coming-of-age romantic comedy scheduled to hit theaters on February 2. The producer, Anil Pallala of Silly Monks, envisions his creation as a delightful experience that has the potential to bring a smile to the viewer's face.

While the film can't be bracketed into this or that (the male lead as a cursed being is its premise), 'Happy Ending' deals with a sensitive issue but goes beyond the basics. According to Anil Pallala, the film exhibits a level of maturity akin to acclaimed Bollywood movies like 'Vicky Donor' and 'OMG 2', going beyond the fundamentals of its narrative.

Anil Pallala and director Kowshik Bheemidi are aware of the hyper-aware generation they are targeting. "In the past few months, I have watched 'Happy Ending' on repeat. Without a doubt, it combines a strong story, commendable performances and visual appeal," Pallala says.

Extensive pre-production for nine months helped the team complete the shoot in 30 days. Made on a controlled budget, 'Happy Ending' boasts of all varieties of comedy. Asian Cinemas is releasing the movie in theatres.

The film, with music by Ravi Nidamarthi and cinematography by Ashok Seepalli, also features Ajay Ghosh, Vishnu Oi, Jhansi, Anita Chaudhary, and others.
