After Kanuma storm at BO, Nagarjuna's film is almost profitable

'Naa Saami Ranga' has been doing very well at the box-office. It was released in theatres on Sunday (January 14) and went on to surge ahead on Monday and Tuesday. Trade reports say that the film is on the verge of entering the profit zone.

The makers today said that the Akkineni Nagarjuna-starrer had a superb run on Kanuma day. The film's gross is just Rs 20 lakh shy of Rs 25 Cr in three days. "Sankranthi KING #NaaSaamiRanga STORM at BO on Kanuma Day! Total 3 Days WW gross is 24.8 crores. Festive celebrations in theatres will continue on Day 4 too (sic)," the makers said today in a statement.

Produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi of Srinivasaa Silver Screen, 'NSR' is directed by Vijay Binni. "'Naa Saami Ranga' attempts to be a part comedy, part emotional drama with 1990s-style entertainment. Give it a try if you are tired of action thrillers and grave crime capers," we opined in our review.

With music by MM Keeravani and cinematography by Sivendra Dasaradhi, the rural entertainer is a period drama set in the 1980s and 1990s.
