Thrilled about audience loving 'HanuMan' everywhere: Amritha Aiyer

Amritha Aiyer of '30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela' and 'RED' fame was seen in this week's release 'HanuMan' as a gutsy woman named Meenakshi, who takes on Anjanadri's feudal lord. Her comedy scenes with Satya aside, she shares a rapport with Teja Sajja's Hanumanthu.

In her latest interview, the Tamil-Telugu actress says that she is thrilled about the reception for 'HanuMan' everywhere. "Prasanth Varma is such a talent. I trusted him totally," the young beauty says.

In the film's trailer, Amritha had a near-zero presence even though her character in the movie is meaty. "There were three trailer cuts. The best version didn't feature me. The director informed me before the trailer's release that the shots involving me were hindering the intensity," Amritha says.

She was unaware of the film's planned sequel, 'Jai HanuMan', till yesterday. "I watched 'HanuMan' in three different theatres. It was not until I watched the climax of the movie did I know that a sequel has been planned," she says. The sequel will hit the screens in 2025.

The superhero movie, as we speak, is enjoying a superb run at the box-office. As per some trade reports, new shows have been added in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana after a positive word-of-mouth.
