Train journey in Gopichand's movie to celebrate 'Venky'!

It is known that director Sreenu Vaitla and actor Gopichand are doing a film together. Today, the filmmaker revealed that the 2024 release is going to feature a train episode. Going by his words, it is poised to be a tribute to the iconic train sequence from 'Venky', the Ravi Teja-starrer directed by Vaitla himself in 2004.

Referring to the reception to the re-release of 'Venky' this Friday, Vaitla wrote, "I am overwhelmed by the fact that the movie is even closer to the audience than it is to me. The response is truly amazing and I have no words to describe the happiness. It is your taste and love that made the rerelease also a blockbuster."

The 'Dookudu' maker then added, "My special thanks to the memers for placing the scenes/images of 'Venky' so fresh on the minds of film lovers. This gives me extra motivation and responsibility to make my current film more enjoyable. I can't resist revealing this exciting news: Coincidentally there is a celebration of Train Journey in our ongoing movie with Gopichand, too."

Vaitla has taken up a challenging task for sure. A hat-tip to 'Venky' is difficult, especially in the absence of someone as unique as Brahmanandam. It would be apt and fitting if Brahmi were to make a cameo appearance in the sequence.
