'If pro-TDP media does anti-Jagan propaganda, why can't 'Vyooham' be made?'

Ambati Rambabu, the Minister of Water Resources of Andhra Pradesh, graced the pre-release event of 'Vyooham' on Saturday. Held in Vijayawada as a public event, it witnessed a thundering speech by Ambati.

The YSRCP leader defended Ram Gopal Varma for making the film. He pooh-poohed TDP leaders like Nara Lokesh for earlier describing that it is a propagandist piece of cinema. "Eenadu (the Telugu daily) writes against Jaganmohan Reddy garu every single day. Everything they write against the CM is a lie. Given this, why can't producer Dasari Kiran Kumar make an honest political film? What is their issue with 'Vyooham', which is nothing but reality?" Ambati asked. "'Vyooham' will show how the rise of Jagan garu happened," he added.

RGV openly admitted that 'Vyooham' is pro-YCP. "My film exposes the mindset of those who make aggressive speeches (RGV said in this in a not-so-oblique reference to Pawan Kalyan). They will be figuratively stripped of their clothes. This is a unique film that doesn't violate any law. That's why the CBFC has certified our film," Varma added.

The makers said that 'Vyooham' is a one-of-its-kind political film because the names of real-life politicians haven't been changed in it. The actual names have been used.

Ajmal Amir is playing the role of YS Jaganmohan Reddy in the movie.
