'HIT 3' is going to feature Natural Star Nani in the lead. There are rumours that Nani and director Sailesh Kolanu want to ensure that it hits the screens in December 2024. Going by Kolanu's latest words, that's not happening. The director is going to give it a pause and might take up the crime thriller only in 2025.
"'HIT 3' won't happen before I make a non-franchise film after 'Saindhav'. I want to prevent the onset of franchise fatigue in the viewers," Kolanu, known for 'HIT' and 'HIT 2' said. The former featured Vishwak Sen and the latter was headlined by Adivi Sesh.
Kolanu awaits the release of 'Saindhav' for Sankranthi 2024. Starring Venkatesh in the lead, the film has Shraddha Srinath as the female lead. Its promotions are underway.
Nani recently scored a hit with 'Hi Nanna'. The latest reports say that the film's collections haven't evaporated despite 'Salaar'. Yes, the footfalls have fallen considerably due to Prabhas' movie but the film's box-office run is far from over. It will have a run for another week in Hyderabad and the US. Directed by newcomer Shouryuv, 'Hi Nanna' also featured Mrunal Thakur and Baby Kiara Khanna.
