Shruti Haasan goes bold and poetic in 'Monster Machine'

Shruti Haasan has brought out an independent music video titled 'Monster Machine'. Sung, composed and written by her, the same is produced by Blck. Karan Kanchan and Karan Parikh are its music producers.

On Thursday, the video was released digitally by 'Leo' director Lokesh Kanagaraj. "Wishing the absolute best for 'Monster Machine' to be a raging success," the 'Vikram' maker wrote.

Talking about the video, Shruti said that the song is a "dark feminine cry of self-love and an uninhibited need for the kind of bespoke love the woman of darkness needs". She added that the video uses words "intertwined with industrial rhythm and Indian rhythm all wrapped within a cinematic style score that lends itself to the story."

Shruti will be seen in Prabhas' 'Salaar' next. The film, directed by Prashanth Neel, will hit the screens on December 22 this year. The 'Race Gurram' actress might promote the action movie in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Earlier this year, she was seen in 'Waltair Veerayya' and 'Veera Simha Reddy'.
