It is known that Amitabh Bachchan will be doing a special role in Rajinikanth's 170th movie, to be directed by Kollywood filmmaker TJ Gnanaevel. Welcoming Big B on board, the 'Jailer' actor today described the Bollywood Megastar as a mentor. He also called the legendary Hindi actor as a phenomenon.
"After 33 years, I am working again with my mentor, the phenomenon, Shri Amitabh Bachchan in the upcoming Lyca Productions’ Thalaivar 170 directed by TJ Gnanavel. My heart is thumping with joy! (sic)," wrote the 'Darbar' actor on Twitter.
Reacting to the tweet made by Rajini, Big B said that Rajini is the true chief, not him. He also said that he doesn't stand in comparison anywhere. "Sirrrrr, you are too gracious to me, but just see the title of the film. It is THALAIVAR 170. Thalaivar means Leader, Head, Chief .. You are the head, the Leader and the Chief .. ANY DOUBT people?? I cannot compare myself with you! My great honour to be working with you again .. !! (sic)," wrote the KBC host.
The film, also starring Fahadh Faasil and Rana Daggubati, will hit the screens in the second half of 2024.
