Nayanthara's 75th film is going to hit the screens later this year. The Tamil-language film is titled 'Annapoorani' and comes with the caption 'The Goddess of Food'. If Keerthy Suresh wanted to become a chai entrepreneur in 'Miss India', the 'Sye Raa' actress wants to become a food entrepreneur in the upcoming release, 'Annapoornai. The film's Telugu title will be announced soon.
Presented by Zee Studios (which recently presented Pawan Kalyan's 'BRO'), Trident Arts and Naad Studios, the film's teaser shows Nayan clandestinely reading about a dish while pretending to be preparing for her MBA exams. She hails from a traditional Brahmin family in the drama.
Also starring Jai, Sathyaraj, Achyuth Kumar, KS Ravikumar, Redin Kingsly, Achyuth Kumar, Kumari Sachu, Renuka, Karthik Kumar and Suresh Chakkaravarthy, the film is directed by Nilesh Krishna. Thaman S (music), Sathyan Sooryan (cinematography), Praveen Antony (editing), and G Durairaj (art direction) are working on the movie.
Nayan was recently seen in 'Jawan'. The Shah Rukh Khan-starrer was directed by Atlee. It raked in Rs 1000 Cr at the box office. These days, Nayan is not accepting straight Telugu films. Post her marriage, she has been very selective.
