'Kannappa – A True Epic Indian Tale' is produced by Mohan Babu and stars his son Manchu Vishnu in the lead role. Prabhas might play a cameo in the movie.
It is learned that Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, who was recently seen in a cameo in Rajinikanth's 'Jailer', will be seen in a role in the movie. The exact character is yet to be made official.
A few other big names besides Shiva Rajkumar and Prabhas are expected to join the cast.
Recently, the film's shoot was started in New Zealand. The massive scale of the production can be understood from the fact that a 600-strong cast and crew from around the world have joined the core team of the movie in New Zealand soon.
24 Frames Factory and AVA Entertainment are going to spend a lot on 'Kannappa'. Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, Thota Prasad, Thotapalli Sainath, and Burra Sai Madhav are its screenwriters. With music by Mani Sharma and Stephen Devassay, the film has cinematography by Sheldon Shau. Art Director Chinna is putting up intricate set designs. Director Mukesh Kumar Singh is waiting to prove his directorial skills.
