Ram Gopal Varma today announced the release date of 'Vyooham', which is about the plans etched by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy following the untimely demise of his father, YSR, in 2009. The political drama will hit the screens on November 10 this year.
Its sequel, which is titled 'Shapadham', will hit the screens on January 25, 2024. This one will clash with 'Prathinidhi 2', which is a pro-TDP movie starring Nara Rohit in the lead. So, there is going to be a box-office clash between two political films with a bias in favour of two of Andhra Pradesh's biggest parties.
'Vyooham' and 'Shapadham' have been made to make some shocking reveals. As per RGV himself, they will give the audience something like electric shock in terms of movie-watching experience.
Another pro-Jagan movie will be released in 2024. It's 'Yatra 2', directed by Mahi V Raghav. The film will hit the screens on February 8 that year.
