Much has been said about the visionary statements of Chandrababu Naidu and pro-TDP media never hesitates to highlight them. Babu himself has started saying that he will continue to implement schemes initiated by Jagan Reddy. Known for his history of going back on promises, one wonders whether TDP has the will and guts to implement a host of welfare measures that has touched every person from poor and underprivileged backgrounds.

YSR Rythu Bharosa: A financial assistance program for farmers, providing financial support to small and marginal farmers to help them improve their livelihoods and increase their income.

YSR Aarogyasri: A health insurance scheme that provides free medical treatment to the poor and vulnerable in the state.

YSR Asara: A financial assistance program for women, providing financial support to women who are widowed, divorced, or deserted by their husbands.

YSR Cheyutha: A financial assistance program for women belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, providing financial support to help them start small businesses and become financially independent.

YSR Pension Kanuka: A pension scheme for the elderly, providing financial assistance to senior citizens in the state.

YSR Housing: A housing scheme for the poor, providing financial assistance to help families construct or repair their homes.

YSR Navodayam: A program that provides employment opportunities and skill training to the youth in the state.

YSR Matsyakara: A program that provides financial assistance to fishermen in the state to help them improve their livelihoods.

YSR Kapu Nestam: A financial assistance program for members of the Kapu community, providing financial support to help them start small businesses and become financially independent.

YSR Vahana Mitra: A program that provides financial assistance to drivers in the state to help them purchase vehicles and start their own businesses.

Some of these schemes may have been old like Pensions but now they are being given in hand to the vulnerable by village volunteers. The volunteer scheme is now being emulated by other states as well, due to its success. The Pro-TDP media has been blaming this system while Babu has been saying that he will continue the volunteer’s system as well. All these things are easier said than done. Let’s see how Babu will hoodwink voters this time.
