Well, the latest scare is coming in the form of the BF.7 variant which is creating havoc in China and is expected to spread across East Asia soon. So, what are the various perspectives? Let us see.
As per the chief of World Health Organization, the hope is Covid-19 may not be a global emergency anymore. What many are unable to figure out is, how come the news broke so suddenly citing a mind boggling number of cases. It is usually a gradual thing. Few others feel this may well be endemic but the virus will not be eradicated. For now, the government has already started issuing safety precautions so let us hope BF.7 doesn’t really cause the damage as anticipated.
