Twitter's latest paid-for verification feature is all set to be re-launched again Monday. It was placed on hold last month when impersonators rushed to buy it.

The cost is still $8 per month however there will be an increased fee of $11 for users who use the Twitter app on Apple devices. Twitter's new owner Elon Musk has expressed recently through tweets that he is against the commission fee which Apple charges for in-app purchases. Now Twitter Blue's additional feature includes an edit button which was requested by many Twitter users.

From now Blue-tick subscribers will receive fewer ads, and they can get their tweets amplified above other tweets. They can also post and see longer and better-quality videos.  Earlier a blue tick was considered as a verification tool for many high-profile accounts as a matter of authenticity.

China’s Compromise On Covid Tracking App

Chinas Compromise

China has reportedly deactivated an exclusive phone app which had been tracking people's movements during the covid-19 pandemic. The national app has so far been operational for three years, and it went offline this week which is also the latest policy change. This is a signal that Beijing is finally halting its controversial zero-Covid strategy.

This movie is also a highly symbolic one that may not have any huge impact on the daily lives of people because there are other local apps being still used in many cities across China.

People had to enter their phone numbers in this app for generating a green arrow and only then were they permitted to enter events and travel between cities.  Now the travel between all provinces is now eased by removing the Covid-prevention restrictions, a move welcomed by many social media users in the country.
