KCR is all set to launch a massive campaign for the newly constituted Bharat Rashtra Samithi to take it to all India level. In this regard, he is redrawing all his strategies to make sure that the party emerges as a national entity for which a certain percentage of votes in different states are required.

Naturally, as a fellow Telugu state, Andhra Pradesh matters a lot and KCR is reportedly planning to field candidates in a limited number of districts, especially those pertaining to border regions. He wants to field candidates for Assembly polls in Guntur, Prakasam, West Godavari and Krishna regions while Kurnool is also an additional option.

KCR is keen on border areas because these areas have strong inter-people exchanges and any anti-KCR sentiment here is not as strong as it was in core areas. The development activities in Telangana, just across the border will have a positive impact on the electorate in these regions.
