KTR takes a political jibe at Congress over recent power cuts

K T Rama Rao, the working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), took a direct jibe at the Congress party regarding the recent power disruptions in the city. Following Tuesday's unanticipated rainfall, several areas of Hyderabad encountered power outages due to grid failures, prompting widespread public discontent.

Addressing the issue, KTR, as he's commonly known, utilized his official social media platform to urge citizens to prepare for potential emergencies by stocking essential items such as inverters, charging bulbs, torch lights, candles, generators, and power banks. He underscored the importance of making informed voting decisions, emphasizing that the current power disruptions occurred under the Congress government, not under BRS leadership.

The power shortages left many parts of the city in darkness for extended periods, with some areas experiencing outages for more than 24 hours.
