Aravind Kejriwal to argue his own case in Delhi liquor scam?

It is now known that Delhi Chief Minister, Aravind Kejriwal is arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with the corruption charges in the liquor scam on late night on Thursday, March 21, 2022.

Aravind Kejriwal has now filed a Writ Petition (WP) in Supreme Court of India on March 21st for urgent hearing. However, the case has been scheduled for hearing on Friday, March 22.

Now, according to the sources, it is being said that that Aravind Kejriwal would be arguing his case for himself, as in his application, it is mentioned that it would be ‘Petitioner-in-person’, which means, the person can argue his own case, it is a special provision provided in the legal course in India. The respondents for the case here are the Enforcement Directorate.

It is already known that former Telangana Chief Minister KCR’s daughter, Kalvakuntla Kavita was also arrested in connection with the Delhi Liquor scam by the ED earlier this week.
