Kalvakuntla Kavitha has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in the Delhi Liquor scam and the political circles in the Telugu states are discussing the same now. BRS working president and the elder brother of Kavitha, KTR has reacted on the matter and he has used Chandrababu's old statement and related it to the current situation.
"The misuse of institutions like CBI & ED to victimise the opposition leaders and their family members, just before the general elections 2019 is deeply disturbing and shows how low BJP can stoop for political vendetta. What’s questionable is the timing of these attacks. Why now?" Chandrababu had tweeted in 2019 and this has been quoted by KTR now.
Naidu is getting trolled over the same as he spit all types of venom against BJP in 2019 and has gone to seek their protection again by joining he NDA. His pointless political moves are getting rolled now in the context of Kavitha's arrest.
About the arrest, KTR tweeted "Abuse of power and institutional misuse to settle political scores is something that has become increasingly common with BJP Govt in last 10 years
ED needs to answer Supreme Court on the inordinate rush to arrest when the matter is very much sub-judice & up for review in a couple of days, on the 19th March. What’s even more appalling is the ED undermining it’s own undertaking given to the Hon’ble Supreme Court. Justice shall prevail and we will continue to fight legally."
