Telangana election campaign has drawn to a close with the completion of the polling period at 5 PM today. The people who are already in the queue at polling stations will be allowed to vote till later in the day but there will be no new admissions.
Coming to the point, the first set of exit polls are coming out in the pretext of Telangana elections and here is a brief look into the same.
Reputed election survey agency Aara Masthan has anticipated a clear swing for the Congress party as the exit polls report from them read Congress will take the lead in the elections and form the government this year.
According to the report from Aara Masthan, the Congress party will win 58-67 seats in the election while TRS will win 41-49 seats. BJP could win 5-7 seats.
As it appears, the first round of exit polls are in favor of the Congress party, despite the fact that the numbers are close and there isn't overwhelming lead to anyone.
