Yesterday Telangana CM KCR addressed a large gathering in Loha, Maharashtra, marking his second major public meeting outside of Telangana. During the rally, he criticized the ruling "Ab ki baar kisaan sarkar" and successfully attracted Maharashtra farmers.

The reason behind KCR's reluctance to land in Karnataka, where elections are scheduled in the next six months, is due to the strength of BRS in Maharashtra, not in Karnataka, where KCR's ally, JDS, is present. As a result, KCR has been advised not to contest in Karnataka.

With the election schedule in Karnataka coming up soon, political parties are finalizing their candidates. However, BRS has dissolved, and KCR announced that his first target was Karnataka. This led to speculation as to why he backed down so much.

Deve Gowda's party has formed an alliance with JDS, and BRS will contest in the border areas of Karnataka where there are more Telugu people, while supporting JDS in other areas. Kumaraswamy, who initially supported BRS, has since withdrawn his support and is considering going with Congress instead, as BRS has no real strength in Karnataka.

Thus, BRS's entry into Karnataka has been rejected, and KCR is not looking towards the Karnataka assembly elections for a friend. It is speculated that after the end of this assembly, KCR may enter parliament and seek the support of JDS.
