The incident involving the death of a child due to attack by dogs in Amberpet, Hyderabad is an unfortunate one that is being addressed sufficiently by the ruling party and the concerned authorities. However, it is equally inappropriate to see a political slugfest over this dog attack incident in Telangana. It is all the more unfortunate when political leaders use a sensitive issue like a dog bite to further their own agendas and engage in unproductive and divisive behavior.

It is indeed appalling to see how some politicians are using this incident as a means to score political points rather than focusing on finding solutions to the issue at hand. After the Congress party created a huge fuss, it is now the turn of BJP that has been targeting the Hyderabad Mayor. It is important to approach any issue with a level of empathy and understanding, especially when it comes to matters of public safety and health.

Dog bites can be a serious issue, and it is important to take steps to prevent them and ensure that those who are bitten receive proper medical treatment.  It has to be remembered that high canine population on streets didn't start only from 2014 after BRS came to power. Instead of engaging in a political slugfest, leaders should work together to address the issue and find solutions that benefit everyone. This can involve promoting responsible pet ownership, increasing awareness about the dangers of dog bites, and ensuring that communities have access to quality medical care. We need to address the issue of dog bites in a responsible and constructive manner by following Animal Birth Control (ABC) guidelines of the Supreme Court of India.

However, engaging in political accusations and finger-pointing only serves to create division and animosity. It is important for the opposition parties in the state to approach the issue with empathy and understanding, and work towards finding solutions that benefit everyone.

In times of crisis, it is essential that leaders rise above petty politics and work together for the common good.  Let's hope that the opposition politicians in Telangana can set aside their differences and work towards finding a solution to this issue that prioritizes the safety and well-being of their constituents. By working together and approaching issues with a level of empathy and understanding, we can build stronger and more cohesive communities, whilst addressing this sensitive issue with maturity and practical solutions.
