Starting Tuesday, April 2, 2024, there would be a direct flight from Hyderabad in Telangana to Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh. This transport facility would help those devotees who plan to visit Ram Mandir.
Getting into the details, several services would be available for the devotees running from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport to Maharshi Valmiki International Airport at the Ayodhya Dham. Airlines, including SpiceJet, Indigo, and Air India Express, would run their services.
Earlier on February 26, 2024, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy wrote to the Civil Aviation Minister, Jyotiraditya M Scindia, seeking a direct flight for the devotees from Telugu states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
In his letter, Kishan Reddy wrote, “I believe that introducing a direct flight route between Hyderabad and Ayodhya would not only cater to the religious sentiments of many devotees but also contribute to the overall convenience and accessibility of air travel for the community.”
