“Arrest Illegal”: Arvind Kejriwal Knocks The Delhi High Court

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal knocked on the doors of the Delhi High Court against his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), terming it as “illegal” on Saturday, March 23, 2024.

It is known that the ED arrested the Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal on 21 March 2024 in connection with the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam. Meanwhile the Special PMLA Court, New Delhi has remanded him for ED custodial interrogation for six days till March 28, 2024.

A few hours after the Special Prevention of Money Laundering Act Court, New Delhi had remanded him for ED custody, Arvind Kejriwal, through his lawyer, filed a petition in the Delhi High Court against his arrest.

It is pertinent to note that earlier AAP leader Manish Sisodia and BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha were also arrested in connection with the case.
