YCP clears its stand on Andhra’s capital in its manifesto

Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy once again clarified the YSRCP stand on the establishment of the capital for the state in their latest manifesto.

According to which, Visakhapatnam would be developed as administrative capital and this would drive the growth as an engine. Amaravathi would be developed as legislative capital and Kurnool would be developed as a judiciary capital.

Since the beginning, the YSRCP has been focussing on the decentralization of power and has shifted the capital from Amaravati to three different regions, thus decentralizing the power.

As of now, Hyderabad has been the joint capital for both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states since post-bifurcation. However, this agreement of joint capital is set to expire on June 2, 2024.
