Rythu Barosa to increase from Rs 13,500 to Rs 16,000 : YSRCP manifesto

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy assured to hike the Rythu Bharosa funds from Rs.13,500 to Rs 16,000. If YS Jagan comes to power, each and every farmer will get Rs 80,000 in the next five years, added the YSRCP manifesto.

Reiterating that in the 2019 manifestation YSRCP guaranteed to give Rs 50,000 for each farmer, however, it has given Rs 67,500 which is more than the assured in the last five years highlighted in the manifesto. Further manifesto highlighted that Tenant farmers were recognized for the first time in the country during YSRCP tenure. They are being provided nine hours of free power for agriculture during day time, through ‘YSR jalakala’ free borewells.

Although not assured in the 2019 manifesto, the YSRCP government established 10,778 YSR rythu Bharosa centres in the state for providing agriculture inputs like seeds, pesticide and others.
