Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy assures support to Visakha Ukku Parirakshana Porata Samithi, who are fighting against the privatisation of the Vizag steel plant.
Jagan Mohan Reddy who was on the Memantha Siddham bus yatra met Visakha Ukku Parirakshana Porata Samithi labour union leader on the sidelines of the Yatra. And discussed the issues of the Vizag Steel plant.
Jagan Mohan Reddy assured to support the cause of the fight against privatisation of the Vizag steel plant. He further pointed out that YSRCP has also penned a letter to the Prime Minister proposing solutions for the steel plant issue. And YSRCP passed a resolution in the Assembly opposing the privatisation of the steel plan
Subsequently, he lamented against TDP for forming an Alliance with the BJP, which initiated the privatisation of the Vizag steel plant. He said, ‘Those who have formed an alliance (TDP, JSP and BJP), have abandoned their moral principles and values concerning the steel plant issue, thus revealing their true character,” said Jagan.
